Jeremy Rogers
It's Jeremy Rogers! I am a landscape painter who resides in the Central region of Texas. The essence of my work is to capture the splendor that is observed in the natural world and to share it with you so that you can appreciate it and bring it into your own house. Painting the mountains is the next best thing to do when he is unable to get out to the highlands.
Art has always been a huge part of my life, ever since I was a child. I come from a family that encouraged me to pursue my artistic interests from a young age.
After a short stint in the military, I decided to follow my heart and enrolled in the Art Institute. There, I honed my skills in design and color theory which lent a hand in my painting and developed my unique style. My Christian faith is also a driving force behind my work, and I find that it inspires me to create pieces that reflect beauty, hope, and love.
Inspiration
When we go to the mountains, we are looking for awe and a sense of place in a cosmos that is far larger than ourselves, according to Paul Piff, PhD. When we travel to the mountains, we are looking for inspiration. The human race is drawn to things that are larger than themselves, and mountains are more powerful and pervasive than humans. Mountains are more powerful than humans.

As a fine artist, I am often inspired by the natural beauty that surrounds us, particularly the majesty of mountains. My paintings seek to capture both the grandeur and the intimacy of these landscapes, inviting the viewer to bask in their splendor. I am a reserved introvert, which allows me to focus my energy on my work, bringing a unique perspective
to my pieces.
